STOP What You’re Doing Right Now and Get Focused!
Do you have too much to do? Is the list of what needs to be done overwhelming? Then you need to focus on the important stuff. Are you living each day as if it’s on fire and you need to put it out? Is this you? Wake up, have a cup of coffee, get ready for work, turn on the TV and listen to the depressing news, catchup on e-mails, barely have an idea of what’s next on the agenda, and no thoughts about your mental, and physical well-being, or your family.
The work day work consumes you before you even begin. Is it any wonder why you’re exhausted everyday, aren’t healthy, your relationships with family, and friends are suspect, you don’t eat right, you can’t sleep, and you have a generally pessimistic outlook on the day, and life.
While this may not be totally you, I’ll bet some of it rings true. Real happiness and success are within reach. You can have great relationships at home, at work and with friends. You can be more successful and not feel stressed out, and you can be healthy, wealthy and wise.
It’s not magic, it’s about how you think and what you do. There are many ways to get exactly what you want, but (yes, there’s a but) you need to make some changes, some very easy and others may be more difficult.
First, you must be open to doing things differently. Second, you want to join a group of people who practice meditation or a self-help group with people you don’t know. Third, get one-on-one coaching, minimum of 3 sessions, to see if this works for you, and you get any breakthroughs. And Fourth, is purchase books, CDs or DVDs on subjects that can help you change your perceptions of life, forget the fiction!
Things you can do Right Now.
1. Meditate
Clear your mind, and then look at what you want to create in your life, how you want it to look, and who you truly want to be.
2. Stop Reacting
Your next reply could be the straw to break the camels back. This means you must act and not re-act by really thinking about what you want to say in every situation before you say it. Words cut deeper than a knife, and those scars never go away. So stay away from negative emotions and judging, and focus on listening to your higher self where all the correct answers reside before you speak.
3. Have Purpose
Live your life on purpose, and with purpose. There is always time to do what you want in life, so be clear as to what you want to do. Then give meaning to everything you do.
4. Read
Stop watching TV, and listening to all the sensationalism. Learn from the ancient masters, today’s luminaries, and respected leaders.
5. Visualize
Take a deep breath, close your eyes and create what your day will look like. See yourself being happy and accomplishing everything you want without stress or drama. Be, Do, Have.
6. Get Help
